MCD Elektronik manufactures measurement and test systems for electronic production for their customers from various industries. MCD was founded in 1983 and currently employs 60 people. The owner-managed company is headquartered in Birkenfeld, near Pforzheim (Germany), is active in Germany, Hungary and China, and delivers to over 50 countries around the world. The systems are used by major corporations as well as for production of medium-sized companies and testing of electronic and mechatronic assemblies. They range from simple test fixtures for product validation through to fully automated test cells, which are integrated into production lines. The company consequently relies on a zero-defect tolerance for quality assurance of its customers from the automotive, consumer electronics, medicial, energy technology, telecommunication as well as sensor and aircraft industry.
