For new device introductions, test program development can take three to six months and requires access to device samples, test fixtures, and engineers experienced in the specific device technology. The semiconductor test engineering talent pool in India is smaller than the chip design talent pool, having historically received less attention from large multinationals. Tessolve is investing in growing this pool through partnerships with engineering colleges to expose final-year electronics students to test engineering as a career, and through internal training programmes that upskill fresh graduates into productive test engineers within twelve to eighteen months.
